1. Order Processing

All orders are processed once full payment has been received and confirmed.

Most jewellery items are made to order and require manufacturing before dispatch.

Our standard manufacturing turnaround time is 4–6 weeks, calculated from the date payment is confirmed, unless otherwise communicated.

2. Manufacturing Timelines

Our standard manufacturing period is 4–6 weeks, excluding courier delivery time.

Timelines may vary depending on design complexity, supplier availability, production requirements and quality control.

Unforeseen delays may occasionally occur. Customers will be informed of material delays and provided with an updated estimated completion date.

All timelines are estimates unless a specific deadline has been agreed in writing. Customers retain their statutory rights concerning delayed or unfulfilled orders.

3. Shipping & Delivery

Orion Jewellers delivers throughout South Africa using selected courier providers.

Shipping fees are displayed at checkout.

Once an order has been dispatched, customers will receive shipping confirmation and tracking information where available.

Courier delivery times are separate from the 4–6 week manufacturing period and may vary by destination.

4. Delivery Information

Customers must provide accurate and complete delivery details when placing an order.

Additional charges may apply where incorrect information supplied by the customer results in failed delivery attempts or redelivery.

Customers should ensure someone is available to receive their parcel.

5. Delays

Although we aim to complete orders within the stated timeframe, manufacturing or courier delays may occasionally occur.

Orion Jewellers will communicate material delays and provide updated delivery estimates.

Where an order cannot be fulfilled within an agreed or legally required timeframe, customers retain their applicable cancellation and refund rights.

6. Lost or Damaged Parcels

All jewellery is carefully packaged before dispatch.

Customers are encouraged to inspect their parcels upon delivery and report visible damage as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days.

Where a parcel is lost or damaged before delivery to the customer or an authorised recipient, Orion Jewellers will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable South African consumer protection law.

7. Failed Deliveries

If a parcel cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address, unavailable recipient or failure to collect from a designated collection point, additional delivery charges may apply.

Customers will be contacted regarding redelivery arrangements where necessary.

8. Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are subject to our published Refund & Return Policy.

Eligible change-of-mind returns must be requested within 7 calendar days of delivery.

Customers retain all applicable statutory rights concerning defective, incorrect or non-compliant products.
